On January 30th, 2016, Nagano Cinema Laboratory had our very first open laboratory. It was a great show and not only the laboratory members, but the people who came to see us really enjoyed it. Also, we are grateful for the beautiful Gallery Hanagura for hosting us and it was honor to perform in a historic building. It was very exciting night for all of us and cannot wait to do another one sometime soon!

2016年1月30日、長野映像実験室の第一回公開実験が開かれました。とてもいいライブになり、実験室員一同だけでなく、見に来ていただいた方々も大変楽しんでいただいた様子でした。そして我々も美しいギャラリー花蔵に感謝していますし、歴史古き由緒ある建物を使わせてもらえた事を光栄に思います。我々にとってもエキサイティングな夜でしたので、次回が楽しみです！

Created by Nao Nakazawa, Nagano Cinema Laboratory experiments with live cinema, performance, music, and art. In the spirit of underground art movement, our show, Open Laboratory focus on the theme: "Art that can only be experience here and now." The event is unrehearsed. Performers were not familiar with the film and some moving images are edited as they were projected. With the audience, we hope to create and enjoy the time and space where we can explore the possibility of live cinema and performance. 長野映像実験室フィルムメーカーNao Nakazawa (中澤尚博）が立ち上げた映像、音楽、絵画、ダンスなどを取り入れたライブシネマ＆パフォーマンスグループ。「今ここでしか体験できない芸術」をテーマにアングラ精神を引き継ぎ、幅広く芸術と音楽と映像の融合の可能性を追求していく。何が起こるかわからない公開実験では、その場で編集される映像や、アドリブのパフォーマンスを交えて、つかの間の芸術空間の創造を観客と一緒に作り、楽しんでいければと実験室員一同願っています。
